The park is part of the larger Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and acts as a crucial wildlife corridor connecting the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats through sanctuaries like Brahmagiri and Bandipur.
From your stay at Villa Katipadu, you can easily access safari entry points at Nanchi Gate (Kutta) or Veeranahosahalli, both just a short drive away. Choose between early morning (6:00 AM) or evening safaris (3:00 PM) for your best chances to spot the Big Cats and other elusive creatures in action.
