• Lunch & Dinner: Available from our À-la-carte and Buffet menus and must be pre-ordered at least 3 hours prior to meal time

2. Swimming Pool Guidelines

• Wearing appropriate swimming costumes is mandatory while using the pool

• Pool towels are available at the property

• Guests are responsible for their own safety while using the pool

3. Property Care & Damages

• Guests are requested to treat the property, rooms, linens, and furnishings with care

• Any damage to linens or other parts of the property will be chargeable

4. Wildlife & Natural Environment Awareness

Villa Katipadu is located within a thriving natural ecosystem.

• Wildlife Interaction:
  Encounters with wildlife may occur and can be unpredictable. Guests must maintain a safe distance and must not feed, touch, or disturb animals.

• Natural Hazards:
  The estate includes uneven terrain, water bodies, plantation areas, slopes, and dense vegetation. Guests should exercise caution while exploring and are advised to wear appropriate footwear and remain aware of their surroundings.

5. Nature & Insects

• Being set amidst trees, plants, and water bodies, guests may occasionally notice insects, lizards, frogs, or other small creatures in and around the accommodation

• While regular cleaning and basic pest-control measures are in place, it is neither possible nor environmentally responsible to guarantee a completely insect-free environment

• Most of these creatures are harmless and prefer to avoid people

• If you feel uncomfortable at any point, our team will be happy to assist with safe and humane removal, wherever possible

6. Personal Responsibility & Belongings

• Guests are responsible for their own safety and for the safety of their belongings at all times

• The resort is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property

7. Health & Medical Considerations

• Guests with allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities (including insect allergies) should take necessary precautions

• Please carry required medications and inform our staff in case of any medical concerns or emergencies

8. Environmental Stewardship & Eco-Sensitive Zone

Villa Katipadu is located in an eco-sensitive zone, surrounded by forests and coffee estates.

• To preserve the tranquility and natural balance, loud music is strictly prohibited

• Guests are requested to respect wildlife habitats and the natural environment

• Littering, feeding animals, or disturbing habitats is strictly prohibited

9. Weather Conditions

• Weather in natural environments can change rapidly

• Guests are advised to carry umbrellas, suitable footwear, and follow any advisories provided by resort staff

10. Compliance with Villa Katipadu Policies

• Guests must comply with all Villa Katipadu policies and staff instructions

• Non-compliance may result in removal from the premises without refund
